Product Description:
The sport of triathlon was built on "Sprint & Olympic" distances and they remain the most competitive and popular events today. If you are just starting out in triathlon or if you are looking compete at a higher level, having a plan is a key component to training smarter and performing better.
All of our written training programs include the following features:
Periodized tri-training format
Customized swim, bike, run workouts
Training zones to specify the effort for each workout (Zone Intensity Chart Included)
Program Progression Map
Written Training Guides on swim, bike, run, transition, hydration and more
We offer three levels of difficulty in the written programs. Review the specific features of each level. We recommend you make your decision based largely upon your current level of fitness and what are your desired training and racing goals.
Beginner Level:
This will be your first event and you have some level of competence in at least 2 of the three “tri” disciplines.
Or, you have trained for several weeks on your own in some or all the triathlon disciplines.
You can allow your self to train up to 3-4 ninety minutes workouts per week
And, your primary goal would be to finish in comfort and with a sense of completion.
Intermediate Level:
You have completed 2 or more events and or have been training in all there triathlon disciplines for several months on your own
You can allow your self to train up to 4-5 ninety minutes workouts per week You are competent in all three triathlon disciplines, but you may also want to improve your weakest sport.
And, your primary goal would be follow a more rigorous program and achieve a new personal best.
Advanced Level:
You have completed 4 or more events in the past year or are currently active in your racing season.
You can allow your self to train up to 5-6 ninety plus minutes workouts per week, with some over distance training.
You are competent in all three triathlon disciplines, and your want to maximize your best efforts in all three sports.
And, your primary goal would be to challenge yourself to achieve a top ten finish or better in your age group.
