9/27/2008 – Hello,
My big challenge is generating more power during the "pull phase" of my stroke (a normal 100 for me is 2' 15" - 2'30"). Will this DVD provide the drills necessary to improve my weakness?

The short answer to your question is YES. The TTS Swimming For Triathletes DVD will improve the power in your pull phase. It’ll do it by taking you, step by step through a series of drills we call the Propulsion and Timing drills. They will teach you to set up your hip for greater potential power and connect your hip power to the catch to generate the maximum power during the pull.
I would hope that you’d follow the rest of the drills as well to absolutely confirm that you are not held up too much by drag. If your body is not level in the water then the strongest pull in the world will not get you below 2min per 100.
